“You will lose yourself in motherhood…You’re supposed to…You will find someone entirely new.”

  • Jessie Harrold

Becoming a mother doesn’t just happen at the moment a baby joins your family. It is a process of transformation that can begin before conception and continue for years after birth. It can be joyful, unfamiliar, and difficult.

I’d like to support you along your journey.

My Background

I’m a mother, wife, and therapist engaged in my own process of deepening, growing and healing. I was transformed by my journey through pregnancy and into motherhood and feel called to support other women through this life changing experience.

Pre-conception & Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a physical experience, but also an emotional and spiritual one. It can bring up fears, raise feelings about your family of origin, and impact core relationships. Sometimes there are complications, and sometimes a pregnancy is lost.

For some, the journey to pregnancy begins when you set an intention to have a child - this is a time that can be full of hope as well as uncertainty. For others, becoming pregnant can be unplanned and unexpected, and you find yourself walking a new path.

Birth

Whether it was your dream birth, a traumatic one, or just went very differently than you expected, the experience of how you give birth can profoundly impact you and how you connect with your baby.

Postpartum and Beyond

The time after a new baby comes is incredible and difficult. It draws on all of your physical and emotional resources and disrupts your relationships and sense of self. It can impact you in ways you never imagined.

After emerging from the early postpartum time of healing, coping and adjusting to the demands of a new baby, a quieter and slower process of transition to embodying the identity of mother can continue on for several years.

I’d love to support you.
